Women in Tech Training

Trainings Provided by SIZ

SIZ's vision is for the nation to be a leader of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Horn of Africa. In this year SIZ is working to improve the quality of ICT skills for young graduates, civil servants, military personnel, people with special needs, women empowering and other community members who require ICT skills. This means that if the use of ICT in the above areas is improved, Somaliland could be part of a regional technology competition. The provided trainings including:  

The first batch we trained here were women, as one of our missions is to women's empowerment through technology training to launch their careers in innovative, growing tech skills, and develop female creativity to fully engage with digital platforms and promote ICT opportunities for women. We have trained them in a graphic design course, which helps them to work more easily as there are a variety of jobs that require graphic design skills.
