Military Training for Tech
The overall goal of the world military is to mitigate any potential hazards through technology, it is necessary to steps forward our armies' ICT skills to a set of behaviors and technologies aimed at protecting systems, computers, networks and data from unauthorized access in order to safeguard personal data and secrets that are vulnerable to attacks.
With that in mind, the SIZ conducted on December 12, 2021, a network training course for troops of the Somaliland Armed Forces, which included the national arm, fire forces, police force, presidential guard, immigration force, and custodial corps. This course taught them network skills concerning how to operate and troubleshoot complex networks and systems, which the nation desperately needs. The second phase of this training is currently taking place in the Somaliland Innovation Zone.
